Applied Membranes Part #: C-C4220-NS Filter Size: 4.5” Dia. x 20" L For Housing: #20 (20 Inch) Service Flow Rate: 4 GPM Filter Life: 12 Months Preloaded with anti-scale media which prevents scale formation by transforming dissolved hardness minerals into harmless, inactive microscopic crystal particles. These crystals stay suspended in the water and are passed to drain. The filters require very little maintenance, no backwashing and no salt. Typical hardness problems, especially build-up of scale in heating elements, pipes, water heaters, boilers and on fixtures are no longer a concern. Prevent scale formation to improve efficiency and prolong the life of downstream equipment such as Reverse Osmosis Membrane Systems, Water Heaters, Household Appliances, Coffee Makers, Ice Machines, Distillers, Evaporators, Steam Generators, and virtually anywhere that hard water is a problem. C-C4220-NS is 4.5” Diameter x 20” length and fits inside of a #20 (20-inch) style filter housings (the outside dimensions of these housings are approximately 7.5" OD x 22" H). Operating Limits: MAX Pressure: 90psi (6.3kg/cm2); MAX Temperature: 100°F(38°C) Capacity: Anti-scale cartridges do not have a grain removal capacity, however, other contaminants present in the water will gradually degrade the effectiveness of the cartridge.
